Blue Dog Grooming / Coronavirus update  3/22/20 ​- Yes, Blue Dog is open! 

Per Gov. Cuomo, in a directive today: 

“All non-essential workers are directed to work from home, and everyone is required to maintain a 6-foot distance from others in public”

As a small, home-based grooming shop, I am able to fill these requirements. I currently see between 4 - 6 customers, all spaced out over the course of a day; the owners are here for usually less than a minute and as soon as they leave, anything they may have touched is disinfected. I maintain at least a 6 foot distance from all humans, and I am also happy to pick up and deliver dogs to your car out in my driveway, if you prefer. Dogs are bathed immediately upon their arrival, so any germs that they may be carrying are washed away.
